OUR MISSION is to ensure that children and their classrooms in the Greater Metropolitan Saint Louis Area have the basic tools for learning by transferring, at no cost, the community's surplus supplies and merchandise into the hands of teachers for school children in need.

KidSmart Gets Ready to Stuff the Bus
Although the official Push for Pencils drive is still more than a month away, KidSmart is kicking off the drive with the Stuff the Bus drive. Join American Family Insurance, 106.5 The Arch, and Shop ‘n Save for Stuff the Bus throughout the month of July.

Push for Pencils Breakfast
With breakfast sponsor Commerce Bank making the first donation, June 12th kicked off KidSmart’s 6th annual Push for Pencils drive to raise school supplies for St. Louis area kids in need. Enjoying pancakes and smoothies prepared by KidSmart’s board members, corporate partners gathered at the Push for Pencils Pep Rally Breakfast to generate excitement about the upcoming supply drive.

Tee Up for KidSmart
Although KidSmart does not coordinate a golf tournament of its own, there are three local golf tournaments raising funds to support KidSmart’s outreach to area students in need.

Emerson’s Back to School with Joe Buck Celebrity Bee
While proving they are smarter than a fifth grader (or at least the other teams) at the Emerson Back to School with Joe Buck Celebrity Bee on Thursday, May 8, teams ensured area students will have the pencils, crayons and paper they need to succeed in school. This unique event benefited KidSmart-Tools For Learning.
